Nothing particularly out of the ordinary today…I just wanted to comment that amidst a horde of depressing, dirty homeless people near the Vladimirskaya metro station with outstretched hands looking for money, I saw one man with a big smile on his face as he put cologne on his neck. That made me smile as well…well, that and as I turned back to the sidewalk a stocky, muscular man passed me with a really tight t-shirt that said “Sister of a U.S. Marine”
This afternoon when I started my daily newspaper sweep, I saw that Biden was set to be in West Orange this morning promoting Corzine’s gubernatorial campaign. Pair that with Obama coming to Moscow a week after I leave, and I’m missing everything. Maybe Hillary (or Bill) Clinton will show up in Kiev to proctor my exam.
